This learning object was specifically designed with the members of Startup Mojave in mind. Through the use of discovery questions I was able to gauge the learner’s knowledge as well as identify various learning gaps.

Learners are not familiar with any kind of framework that can help them in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

  • Learner does not possess enough knowledge of the benefits of a plant based diet. 

  • Learner has a good relationship with food and fears that strict dieting could hurt that relationship.

  • Learner wants to not be stressed by the complexities of a plant based diet.

  • Practice selecting and creating meals with whole plant foods.

  • Learner has cultural and social restraints that could hurt her success within the program.

Take aways

The corse was successful after the two weeks of followup. Further research and more testing will be needed in the future to determine the outcome and to see if the learner was able to meet the targeted goals. Overall, this was an insightful process.
